Maynard R. Walker

Maynard R. Walker, age 71, of Battle Creek, died unexpectedly on Monday, February 24, 2014. He was born in Battle Creek on February 2, 1943, the loving son of Floyd and Lucille (Pitt) Walker, and retired from Post cereals after many years of faithful service. He enjoyed playing cards, traveling and watching television & movies.

Maynard is survived by his sister-in-law, Marge Walker; his nieces, Donna Norman and Bonnie (Stu) Peck, both of Battle Creek; his nephew, Robert "Bob" (Rosie) Walker of Phoenix, Arizona, and several great-nieces & nephews. He was sadly preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Ronald Walker and Donald Walker.

A memorial service to celebrate Maynard's life will be held 6:00 p.m., Thursday, March 6, 2014 at the Pleasantview Family Church, 2601 Lacey Rd. Dowling, MI 49050 with Rev.
