Melissa M. Gaw

Melissa Mae Gaw, 53, of Battle Creek, Michigan, passed away on Monday, July 22, 2019 at Bronson Battle Creek Hospital. She was born on August 9, 1965, daughter of Lewis Lake and Sharon (Gibson) Lake.

Melissa graduated from Bellevue High School in 1984. After high school she joined the workforce but she found her passion with photography at the Meijer and Walmart photo centers.

Melissa is survived by her parents, Lewis and Sharon Lake; brothers, Todd (Darlene) Lake and Lloyd (Carol) Lake; sister Tammy Lake; nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and former spouse Rodney Gaw.

Melissa had a passion for photography and music. She enjoyed photo shoots, singing karaoke and line dancing. Above all she enjoyed being around those whom she loved, including her fur-babies.

Cremation has taken place and a private memorial service will be held. Arrangements by the Farley Estes Dowdle Funeral Home & Cremation Care.
