Michael Duane Bruce

Michael Duane Bruce, age 67 of Battle Creek, went to be with the lord surrounded by his family at home.

Mike was born and raised in battle creek, the son of Myron Bruce and Dena Abbott. Mike attended Battle Creek Central High School and later received a degree in welding. Mike was a dog handler, math tutor, and very knowledgeable on many subjects. He also loved entering and competing in weightlifting competitions in his younger years.

Mike was happiest when he was with his family, especially all his nieces and nephews. He is survived by his daughter, Tiann (Rob) Wellington; sisters, Cindy Bruce and Kimmula (Vincent) Kucharski; and several nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Candy Holevinski.
