Michael Lee "Mike" Miller of Battle Creek, MI
Mike, age 76, died Thursday evening, December 3, 2020, at Bronson Battle Creek Hospital.
Mike was born on February 1st, 1944, in Battle Creek, to John A. and Juanita J. (Tungate).
Miller, after graduating from Springfield High School, in 1962, joined the United States Army, where he served as a Public Information Officer. Following the War, Mike worked for the Eaton Corporation, in Springfield, where he also served as a United Auto Workers (Local #196) union official for many years. After his time at Eaton's, Mike worked for the Veterans Administration Medical Center, until his retirement in 2005.
Mike is survived by his children, Markham and Marne; and, grandchildren, Morgan Miller and Joel Miller-Pritt. Mike was preceded in death by his parents.
He was definitely not a visitor to planet Earth and he was a temple of the spirit.
Graveside Service to celebrate Mike's life will be held in the spring, 2021, at Memorial Park Cemetery, in Battle Creek, where he will be laid to rest with his parents. The Farley Estes Dowdle Funeral Home & Cremation Care, Battle Creek, is assisting Mike's family.
