Michael Wayne "Mike" Pauzer, 69, a lifelong Battle Creek resident died on Monday, February 1, 2021, at Glen Arbor Hospice Residence.
Mike was born April 6, 1951 in Battle Creek to Alfred Wayne and Irene Ruth (Manley) Pauzer. He was a 1969 graduate of Battle Creek Central High School and was employed in General Construction Work.
Mike is survived by; a sister, Linda I. Mellen of Dowling; a nephew, Tad (Jaime) Mellen of Wixom; several cousins and their families; and Deborah Ball his companion of 25 years. He was preceded in death by his parents; infant brothers, Ike and Kirk Pauzer; and a brother-in-law, Tom Mellen.
Mike and Deborah spent the summers at Angel Cove in Coldwater, Michigan. He loved fishing, hunting and the outdoors. Mike loved talking with people, having coffee with friends and visiting; and was always willing to help anyone. He enjoyed making deals at garage sales and tended to keep his bargains. One of his favorite pastimes was watching old westerns like Gun Smoke and Bonanza; and also Duck Dynasty. Mike will be remembered as a good guy and a jokester.
Friends will be received 10:00 â 11:30 a.m. Thursday, February 4, 2021 at Farley Estes Dowdle Funeral Home & Cremation Care. Following the visitation, a graveside service will follow at Floral Lawn Memorial Gardens at 12:15 p.m. Thursday, February 4, 2021.
