Michael J. Wygant

Michael J. Wygant, 62, of Battle Creek, died July 15, 2026. Michael was born November 30, 1963 in Battle Creek to David and Betty (Vaughn) Wygant. He graduated from high school and went on to serve in the United States Navy. After his time in the service, Michael was a truck driver for many years. He enjoyed camping, fishing and working in his yard. He was especially fond of his baby yorkies.

Surviving by his wife, Donna Wygant; sons, David, Michael and Derek Wygant; stepdaughters, Jillian and Jena; his sisters, Leslie Green, Kris and Kim; a brother, David; Aunt Brenda; and many cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, David Wygant and Betty Vaughn Green; Uncle Jim; Grandparents, Roy and Hazel Vaughn and a sister, Connie.

Funeral Services to celebrate Michael’s life will be 1:00 p.m., Monday, August 3, 2026 at the Farley Estes Dowdle Funeral Home & Cremation Care. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. Personal messages for the family may be placed at www.farleyestesdowdle.com.
