Mildred Jean (Lisenbee) Bradd was born December 11, 1942 in Wareham, MA to Luna Jearl Lisenbee and Nancy Veatrice (Hines) Lisenbee. She left this world early Monday morning, May 22, 2023, surrounded by her four Daughters, after a short battle with cancer.
Jeannie grew up in a military house as her father was in the Army so they moved around a bit. She spent most of her childhood growing up in Texas, where she met her first husband, Harold Hagan, and had two daughters, Debra and Rhonda. They later moved to Michigan, where she met her second husband, Eugene Bradd, and was blessed with two more daughters to raise, Joyce and Nancy. He preceded her in death in 1995.
Jeannie was loved by everyone she met as she had a big heart and a smile for everyone. She had many careers when she was working, her last one at the Battle Creek Enquirer where she was a District Manager of Circulation. Some of her other favorite places to work were Binder Park Zoo, Battle Creek Equipment, Dairy Queen, and as the Manager at the Te-Khi Truck stop gift shop. After retiring, she was able to travel around the United States delivering travel trailers, which she really enjoyed. Her most important role was being a mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She loved her family and made supporting them her priority in life. She enjoyed fishing, reading romance novels, bingo, birdwatching, gardening, cooking (best fried chicken EVER), and anything to do with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father, mother, brother Billie Lisenbee; her best friend and sister-in-law, Loretta Lisenbee; her nephew Billie Lisenbee, Jr.; and her great-granddaughter Rosalee Houghlin, and son-in-law Dennis Clayman. She is survived by daughters, Debra D. Clayman, Rhonda (Bob) Siegel, Joyce (Roy) Dunham, Nancy (Alan) Batcheller; grandchildren SFC Jason (Marilyn) Brown, Marvin (Ericca) Losey, Crystal (Rich) Batcheller, Drew (Sydney) Losey, Matt (Joni) Losey, Mitch (Estrella) Losey, Cpl. Kyle (Cpl. Jayne) Bradd, Robert Seigel, Brandy Helbling, Alysa (TSgt Eric) Hill, Michael (Briana) Batcheller, Dustin Dunham, and Sunny Morrison, as well as 19 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson.
