Milo M. McKie, 79, of Hickory Corners, died Monday, April 9, 2018. Milo was born May 3, 1938 in Otsego, MI to Milo and Carolyn (Titus) McKie. He graduated high school and went on to serve in the U.S. Army in the Vietnam War. He worked many years for Kalamazoo Vending.

Milo was a life-time member of the V.F.W. and also belonged to the American Legion and the Eagles. He loved life on the lake, playing golf, doing jigsaw puzzles and carpentry work. Milo will always be remembered for being a very hard worker.

Milo is survived by his wife of 27 years, Patricia; a daughter, Deb (Keith) Parshall; two sons, David (Mary) McKie and Michael Ritter; a step-daughter, Penny Musser; a step-son, Tony (Tammie) DeRyder; 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; three brothers, Ron (Debbie) Hosner, Bob (Debbie) Hosner and Rick Hosner and his step-mother, Becky Snyder.

Milo was preceded in death by his mother, Carolyn Stockwell, his father, Milo McKie and a brother, Gaylord Stockwell.

A graveside service to celebrate Milo's life will be 1:00 p.m., Thursday, April 19, 2018 at Fort Custer National Cemetery. Arrangements by the Farley Estes Dowdle Funeral Home & Cremation Care, Augusta Chapel. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or the VA Hospice in Ann Arbor.
