Nancy L. Harris

Nancy L. Harris (Cole) 79 of Elkhart, IN sadly left us on March 17, 2024.  She was born in South Bend, IN to George and Virginia Cole

Nancy is survived by, son Gary Harris (Leigh) and daughter, Debbie Harris; one granddaughter, Briana, two grandsons, Adam and DeAngelo and one great-granddaughter, Alexia, a special niece, Tammy, along with several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by both parents, sisters Vicki, Sue and Peggy, brothers Wendell, Raymond and Philip.

Nancy was formerly employed as a waitress at Gropp’s and Ryan’s in Elkhart for many years before retiring.  She enjoyed shopping, playing bingo and had a love for plants. Nancy loved her family and her dog Zeus.  She will be greatly missed.

Arrangements by the Farley Estes Dowdle Funeral Home & Cremation Care, Richland Chapel.  Per Nancy’s wishes there will be no memorial or funeral services.   Donations can be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.  Personal messages for the family may be placed at www.farleyestesdowdle.com.
