Nancy Lyle

Nancy Joan Lyle, 76, passed away Thursday, March 14, 2024.

Nancy was born December 6, 1947 in Union City to Wilbert Warren and Joyce Harper. She was a 1966 graduate of Lakeview High School. She was a mail carrier for the Post Office and worked for the State of Michigan. Nancy enjoyed crochet, playing bingo and cards with her friend Karen Gutman, and loved spending time with her grandchildren. On December 22, 1971, she was united in marriage to Wesley Lyle.

Nancy is survived by her children, Shownn (Ron) Blackmer, James Walker, Cameron Lyle, Kim (Brent) Milliman, Tyrus (Stacey) Lyle and Rushia Lyle & Rob Straham; thirteen grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren with one on the way; sister, Wendy (Tom) Milliman and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wesley and her parents. 

A funeral service to celebrate Nancy’s life will be held Monday, March 25, 2024 at Farley Estes Dowdle Funeral Home at 2:00 p.m. Family will receive friends for visitation an hour prior. Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery in Union City.
