Norma Jean Williams-Dykman, age 93, of Battle Creek died Saturday morning, November 7, 2015. She was born in Eaton Rapids, Michigan on November 23, 1921, the loving daughter of Joseph Earl and Edith May (Shults) Getter. Norma Jean owned & operated the Parkview Bar & Grill in Battle Creek for many years.
Norma Jean is survived by her children, Stanley Earl Madry, Teresa Louise Walker, and Anita A. (Marvin E.) Bliss, all of Battle Creek; 12 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren, and a sister, Ardith Sands of Marshall. She was sadly preceded in death by her husband, Robert K. Williams, a brother, Joseph Getter, and a sister Eleanor Anderson.
Norma Jean was an avid reader and enjoyed gardening. She was a member of the Polish National Alliance #2416 for many years.
Funeral services to celebrate Norma Jean's life will be held 10:00 a.m., Friday, December 4, 2015 at the Fort Custer National Cemetery.
