Pamela K. "Pammy Sue" Weakley, age 44, of Battle Creek sadly passed away on Tuesday, November 24, 2015 at the Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit after a lengthy and courageous battle. She was born in Camden, New Jersey on December 25, 1970, and was the loving daughter of Charlene K. (Essex) and Randy Smith. Pamela worked for many years for the Stryker Corporation and for Professional Apparel in Battle Creek.
Pamela married the "Love of Her Life", Christopher M. Weakley in Las Vegas, Nevada on June 4, 2003; he survives. She is also survived by her three boys, David Ashba, Derek Ashba, and Eric Weakley; her dad, Randy Smith; her sisters, Tonya Smith, Mindy Smith, and her brother, Steve Smith. Pamela was sadly preceded in death by her mother, her brother Randy Smith Jr., and Pamela & Chris's best friend, Dominic Pier.
Pamela enjoyed playing pool and was a member of various APA Pool leagues for many years. She was also very talented at crocheting and was an avid Detroit Red Wings fan. Pamela truly loved to spend time with Chris and their boys, David, Derek & Eric.
A memorial service to celebrate "Pammy Sue's" life will be held 3:00 p.m. Saturday, December 12, 2015 at New Life Baptist Church, 14225 South M-37, Battle Creek, MI 49017, where friends will be received the hour prior to the service for Pamela. In lieu of flowers, please consider making donations to the Liver Transplant Program at Henry Ford Hospital.
