Patricia Ann "Pat" Augustine

Patricia Ann "Pat" Augustine, age 73, of Battle Creek passed away peacefully on Monday morning, July 18, 2016. She was born in Kalamazoo on January 26, 1943, the daughter of Frank and Madeline (Arnold) Paradine. Pat truly enjoyed going to the Casino, crocheting & knitting, fishing, camping & spending time with her family.

Pat married the "Love of Her Life", Thomas L. "Tom" Augustine in Battle Creek on October 26, 1968; he survives. She is also survived by her children, Thomas H. (Diane) Augustine and Steven G. Augustine, both of Battle Creek; her grandchildren, Payge Henry, Lyndsie Augustine, Nathan Augustine, and Connor (Christian) Plasencia; two great-grandchildren, Carsen Holmes and Noelle Augustine; her brother, Frank "Lucky" Harley, and her best friends, Janice Robins, and Denny & Carol Johnson. Pat was sadly preceded in death by her parents, Frank & Madeline Paradine; her special parents, Beverly & Harold Flanders, and her sisters, Dena Paradine, Deborah Hocking, Toni Rowe, Robin Lee and Julie Flanders.

The family will receive friends 1:30 to 3:00 p.m., Thursday, July 21, 2016 at Farley Estes Dowdle Funeral Home & Cremation Care where funeral services to celebrate Pat's life will be held at 3:00 p.m., Thursday.
