Patricia Ann "Pat" (Kidder) Bartow, 83 of Battle Creek, MI died peacefully at The Oaks at NorthPointe Woods on Saturday, October 17, 2020.

Pat was born June 6, 1937, in Port Huron, MI the daughter of Chester B. and Mildred F. (Moak) Kidder. She grew up on a family farm near Marysville, MI was a 1955 graduate of Marysville High School and earned her Bachelors of Science Degree from Central Michigan University in 1959. Pat began teaching in 1959 at Springfield Elementary in Battle Creek, MI and later served as a substitute teacher at Gull Lake Bedford Elementary. Much of her life she was a dedicated homemaker, always looking out for everyone's needs.

Patricia Ann Kidder was united in marriage to the "Love of Her Life", Lewis Avery Bartow on August 23, 1958 in Port Huron, MI. Pat was preceded in death by Lewis on August 5, 2018.

Surviving are two sons, Brian (Laura) Bartow of St. Louis, MO, Dale (Laurie) Bartow of Kalamazoo, MI; five grandchildren, Jaimee (Andrew) Hart, Jordan (Cailee) Bartow, both of Kalamazoo, MI, Jenna (Matt Shelton) Bartow of Milford, MI, Lindsay Bartow, and Connor Bartow, both of St. Louis, MO; two great grandchildren, Cameron Hart and Ellis Bartow; her brother, Edward (Linda) Kidder of Marysville MI; her sister-in law, Rosemary Bartow; nieces, nephew, cousins and their families.

In addition to her husband Lewis, Pat was preceded in death by her parents, brother-in-law Ben Bartow and nephew David Bartow.

Pat was a member of Chapel Hill United Methodist Church, where many lifelong friends and memories were made. She enjoyed family camp, the quilting group and was a former Cub Scout Den Mother for her sons and their friends.

She enjoyed spending time reading, doing puzzles, crafts and Square Dancing.

Pat and Lewis travelled extensively and in retirement enjoyed annual trips to Mackinac Island, Cardinal Spring Training in Jupiter, FL, cruises and get-away trips with friends and family.

A private inurnment will be held at Riverlawn Cemetery in Marysville, MI, in the Spring of 2021 to celebrate the lives of Pat and Lewis.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in memory of Pat may be made to Chapel Hill United Methodist Church or Gull Lake Community School Foundation.
