Pat/Tricia attended Battle Creek Public Schools, graduating from Battle Creek Central in 1966. She attended and graduated from Wright Beauty School in 1967. She also attended Kellogg Community College.
She was a hair stylist and worked at Archway Cookie Company for a short time then worked at Muir’s, Rite Aid and Walgreens for over 30 years. She was loved by so many customers and co-workers. Her smile and kindness was known and remembered by everyone who met her.
Patricia met her future-husband, Phil at Fort Custer at the NCO enlisted club in 1968, and they were married a few months later. They married in October of 1968 and moved to Bedford Virginia. Brooke and Robert were born in Virginia in 1970 and 1971. They moved back to her hometown, Battle Creek, MI in 1974.
After decades of marriage and the passing of her beloved husband, Phil, she was reunited with a school friend years later, Dale Martin. They both found true love again and Dale found his #1 girl, Pat. They spent 25 wonderful years together, traveling, going out dancing, attending shows and events, gardening and making many trips to the lakeshore, up north and to Florida, where her youngest son and first grandson live. She also loved the many dogs she cared for over the years.
Pat/Mom/Tricia loved her family so deeply and it showed in every gathering she attended. She was a shining light that lifted up every person she knew and carried a wonderful, heart-filled, childhood innocence that only few people have.
We will miss her physical presence immensely and look forward to reuniting with her again one day. Godspeed Pat/Mom/Tricia. Butterfly kisses mom/grandma.
