Patricia Joan (Freed) Price

Patricia Joan (Freed) Price, 83, passed away September 27, 2022.

Patricia was born in Battle Creek on June 19, 1939 to Nelson Burnell and Mary Lucille (Edmonson) Freed. She was a 1957 graduate of Battle Creek Central High School. Patricia enjoyed working 35 years as an administrative assistant, meeting planner, and management consultant to physicians for The PM Group Corporate, retiring in 2000. She was a long-standing member of New Covenant Hope Church serving in many roles including organ player, Deacon, Secretary of Council, and she also taught Sunday School classes at Kambly Living Center.

Patricia is survived by a son, Douglas (Sandra) Price and daughter, Cynthia (Larry) Hoxey; two grandsons, Joshua Price and Sean Hoxey; and great-grandson, Roman Price. She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Robert Freed and Jean Freed and ex-husband Kenneth A. Price.

Patricia's family will receive friends for visitation on Monday, October 3 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm. at the Farley Estes Dowdle Funeral Home. A service will be held there to celebrate her life on Tuesday, October 4, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. followed by interment at Reese Cemetery.
