Patricia "(Pat" (Warner) Sleeper, age 83, of Battle Creek passed peacefully at Bronson Battle Creek Hospital, with her brother and niece by her side, on Wednesday, July 20, 2022, after a long, courageous battle with Alzheimer's disease. She was born July 31, 1938, in Perry, Michigan to Robert Henry and Helen Elizabeth (Garrity) Warner.

Pat grew up in Albion (Marengo Twp), Michigan, graduating from Marshall High School in 1956. She married Ralph Marlin Sleeper in Angola, Indiana on February 13, 1957. They were married for more than 60 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and infant twin boys, Scott Bryan and Shawn Bryce Sleeper.

Pat is survived by her three sons, Greg (Melanie) Sleeper of Arizona, Gary Sleeper of Florida, and Grant (Roxanne) Sleeper of Indiana, 14 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren, her brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Faye Warner and three nieces, Debra (Dave) Ball, Patricia (Jeff) Wilson and Constance (Kevin) Demers as well as her aunt Nancy Warner, many cousins, grandnieces and grandnephews.

Pat worked briefly at Kellogg Company before she went to work at United Steel and Wire, working there until her retirement. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She also enjoyed her beloved family pets as well as exercising and camping. She appreciated music, always knew the lyrics to songs and enjoyed singing, notably old gospel and Elvis Presley music. Pat was a founding member of Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) Calhoun County in 1987. She was a supportive daughter, wife, mother, sister, aunt, and friend.

A special "Thank you" and appreciation to the dedicated and caring staff at the Calhoun County Medical Care Facility over the past four years of Pat's life. She was loved and cared for very well.
