Paul Joseph Kehoe of Battle Creek, Michigan passed away on September 20, 2022 at the age of 97. Paul was born February 2, 1925, in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. He was a graduate of Queens University in Kingston, Ontario with a degree in Engineering. Prior to university he was a Pilot Officer in the Royal Canadian Air Force.
In 1951 Paul was employed at the Canadian Kellogg Co., then transferred to Kellogg's headquarters in Battle Creek, Ml where he retired after 36 years of service as Vice-Chairman. Paul and his family moved several times as his career advanced including assignments in Memphis, Manchester England, and San Leandro, California. Paul was elected to Kellogg's Board of Directors in 1985.
Commenting on Paul's 36 years of service to the Kellogg Company Chairman and CEO William E. La Mothe said "Paul has dedicated his career to guiding Kellogg Company along the cutting edge of food manufacturing technology. He knew almost instinctively when to advance our capabilities. Many of the contributions he made are present in every production facility around the world. Paul, you have given us a valuable legacy of technological progress. Thank you."
Paul was an expert snow skier, a passionate golfer and a longtime supporter of the Boy Scouts of America.
Paul leaves behind a son Geoffrey (Catherine), a daughter Suzanne, and his wife of 68 years Sandra who is also a graduate of Queens University and a former teacher at Battle Creek Central High School. He was preceded in death by his dearly loved younger son Erik. Paul is also survived by four grandsons, Samuel and Charles Kehoe, Tucker and Wyatt Wudyka.
A funeral service to celebrate Paul's life will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 4, 2022 at the Church of the Resurrection, 2589 Capital Avenue S.W., Battle Creek, MI 49015. A committal service and interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Humane Society of South Central Michigan, 2500 Watkins Road, Battle Creek, MI 49015.
