Paul Thomas Neumann, beloved husband of Julie K. Neumann, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, July 23, 2014.
He was born January 21, 1948 in Saginaw, Michigan to Paul F. and Ferne D. Rosser Neumann. Paul grew up in Saginaw, where he graduated from high school. Paul was a Vietnam Veteran and he served two years as a combat engineer in the U.S. Army. He was employed as a union painter until he was disabled due to respiratory problems.
Paul is survived by his wife, the former Julie Kay Stringer, whom he married November 17, 2007. Also surviving are six children and his mother-in-law, Joan Stringer of Battle Creek.
Paul enjoyed playing the Congo drums, cooking, crafts, watching TV, basketball and college football. He was an excellent craftsman and took great pride in his work. He loved his family, friends and all kinds of music.
Friends will be received 2:00-3:00 p.m. Monday at the Farley-Estes & Dowdle Funeral Home, where funeral services will be held 3:00 p.m. Monday, July 28, 2014. Interment will be held at Ft. Custer National Cemetery.
