Paula Kay Rice

Paula Kay Rice, age 70, of Battle Creek passed away Friday morning, September 3, 2021 at the Glenn Arbor Hospice Residence, Battle Creek. She was born in Battle Creek on May 25, 1951, the daughter of Walter and Dora (Horan) Hutchings. Paula enjoyed her computer, playing Bingo, going to the casino, and loved spending time with her family and watching her grandchildren.

Paula is survived by her daughters, Carol Ann Bronkhorst and Nancy (Jeff) Boddy, both of Battle Creek; her grandchildren, Rachael Gillette, Alex Boddy, and Josh Boddy; her sister, Linda Elliott; and several nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her son, William Clinton Rice; her parents; her sisters, Neola Martin, Delores Trumbull; and brothers, Josh Trumbull and Larry Hutchings.

The family will receive friends 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., Tuesday, September 7th at Farley Estes Dowdle Funeral Home & Cremation Care. Memorials may be directed to Hospice Care of Southwest Michigan.
