Purcell Forney

Purcell Forney, age 96 of Battle Creek passed away Monday, March 16, 2026. He was born in Johnson City, Tennessee on April 28, 1929, the son of Addie and Ruby Forney. He was raised in Elizabeth, Tennessee and moved to Montclair, Tennessee at the age of seven. Later in his adult life, Purcell moved to Michigan, worked at Allman Bakery for more than 20 years and previously worked in construction.

Purcell married Ida M. Graham on January 17, 2008; she survives. He enjoyed fishing, going to church, watching the Animal Channel, spending time with family and loving on his wife.
