Ralph Marlin Sleeper, age 80, of Battle Creek sadly passed away Tuesday morning, November 21, 2017 at Bronson Methodist Hospital, Kalamazoo. He was born in Albion, Michigan on November 28, 1936, the son of Wayne S. and Leota M. (Herriff) Sleeper. Ralph faithfully served his country as a member of the United States Army from 1955 to 1959 and retired from the U.A.W./ General Motors in 1993 after more than 30 years. Ralph truly enjoyed fishing and bowling.
Ralph married the "Love of His Life", Patricia A. "Pat" (Warner) Sleeper in Angola, Indiana on February 13, 1957. He is survived by his wife of more than 60 years, "Pat"; three sons, Greg (Melanie) Sleeper of Arizona, Gary Sleeper of Florida, and Grant (Roxanne) Sleeper of Indiana; ten grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; his sister, Elaine Justice of Albion; and the beloved family dog, "Stuie".
A memorial service to celebrate Ralph's life will be held 2:00 p.m., Monday, November 27th in the chapel at Floral Lawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
