Richard "Ric" Riegel

Richard A. "Ric" Riegel, 64, of Olivet, died Tuesday, April 10, 2018. Ric was born May 15, 1953 In Battle Creek to Richard N. and Irene (Mulvaney) Riegel. He received an Associate's Degree in Electronics from Kellogg Community College and worked as an electronic technician for over 6 years at Neogen Corp. in Lansing, MI.

Ric loved raising Rottweiler dogs, watching movies, listening to music and eating his favorite pies and fudge.

Ric is survived by his wife of 29 1/2 years, Debrah; a daughter, Heather Maree Riegel-Uhrie; a son, Derric A. Riegel; a granddaughter, Katelynn Nicole Uhrie; his father, Richard N. Riegel and his brother, Gary (Julie) Riegel. Ric was preceded in death by his mother, Irene Riegel.

A memorial service to celebrate Ric's life will be 12:00 p.m., Monday, April 16, 2018 at Baseline United Methodist Church with a luncheon to follow. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Spectrum Health Meijer Heart Center Cardiothoracic Critical Care, 100 Michigan St. NE, Grand Rapids, MI 49503.
