Robert "Bobby" Asher, Jr.

Robert “Bobby” Asher, Jr. was 26 when he passed away unexpectedly on January 20, 2024. Bobby was born on April 3, 1997 to Robert and Heather (Clark) Asher in Battle Creek, MI at 7:56 a.m. 8 lbs. 12 oz. 21 inches.

Bobby loved to draw, play video games, going to the beach, parks, camping and going to the zoo, where he loved feeding the goats. He had a deep appreciation for music; he says it soothes his soul. Bobby loved his family with all his heart and enjoyed doing anything as long as he was with them. Bobby had an infectious laugh and smile that could light up even the darkest of rooms. 

Bobby left behind a wife, Jessica (Trimm) Asher; seven children, Bobbie Leigh, Caelan, Lillian, Ryleigh, Adalynn, Zayleigh, and Avianna; mother, Heather (Clark) Asher; maternal grandparents, Steven and Karen Clark; sisters, Sadie Hall and Brittany Barnard; nieces, Scarlett Hall and Makenna and Lillianne Rennaker; nephew, Zedidiah Rennaker; two cousins who were so close to him, they were his brothers, Robert Thomason and Harold Gillette; another cousin that was with him every day since she was born, whom he called his little sister, Savannah Skoglund; mother-in-law, Amy Trimm and grandmother-in-law, Nina (Richard) Trimm, whom he loved very much; plus a bunch of aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and friends who all loved him very much.

Bobby was preceded in death by his father Robert Asher, Sr.; paternal great-grandmother, Linda Martin; paternal grandmother, Jessie Asher; uncles, Michael Gillette, Mike Bess and William Asher; aunt, Tina Parnell; paternal great-grandparents, Jesse and Lois Asher.

As per Bobby’s wishes he will be cremated. There will not be any services at this time but there will be a celebration of Bobby’s life at a later date.
