Robert L. Brown

Robert L. Brown, age 54, of Augusta, Michigan passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, June 25, 2020. He was born in Battle Creek on September 1, 1965, the son of Patrick L. and Judith "Judy" (Bell) Brown. Robert graduated from Pennfield High School with the Class of 1983 and retired from the HI-LEX Corporation in 2019 after more than 25 years of service.

Robert married Janey L. Garrett at the Yorkville Community Church on September 22, 1984; she survives. He is also survived by his children, Shanie (Mitchell) Cashwell of Augusta, Edward (Tammy) Lemon of Galesburg, Andi Lemon and Trinity Caldwell, both of Augusta; his grandchildren, Keaona & Camaro Cashwell, Cheyenne Lemon, and Buddy Christian; his great-grandchildren, Addison Christian and Sonny Lemon; his parents, Patrick & Judy Brown; and two sisters, Debbie (Joe) Baranek and Amy (Terri) Calhoun Robert was preceded in death by his grandparents, Wendell & Louise Bell and Harold & Lucille Brown; and his uncle & aunt, Walt & Mildred Shafe.

A Celebration of Robert's Life will begin at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, July 11th at the family home, 20644 W. County Line Road Augusta, MI 49012. In lieu of flowers, memorials directed to the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Michigan, would be appreciated Arrangements by the Farley Estes Dowdle Funeral Home & Cremation Care, Augusta Chapel.
