Robert Earl Culp, 70, of Battle Creek, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving wife and family on March 26, 2026. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. Robert “Bob” was born on September 7, 1955, to Leon and Maxine Culp and had 5 siblings. He attended Battle Creek Central High School and graduated in 1974.

In June of 1974, he married the love of his life, Cindy (Metheny) Culp. Together they built a life full of lasting memories and a loving family which included their three children Eric, Chad and Melissa. Bob and Cindy loved to travel, go on cruises and take trips to Mackinaw.

Bob worked as a Maintenance Supervisor for Docsa Home in Springfield, MI for 20 years before becoming disabled in 2003. In his younger years he loved to ride motorcycles with his friends, was a member of the Kalamazoo Corvette Club, and obtained his Pilot’s License so he could fly the friendly skies. He enjoyed playing cards, especially Euchre with his “brother”, Pancho, which gained him the nickname, “Euchre Bob” and he had a love of anything Michigan. His favorite catch phrase was, “Go Blue or Go Home”. Bob had an amazing sense of humor and could always find a way to make the people around him smile. He enjoyed spending time with his family and never missed an opportunity to get everyone together for a cookout. His grandchildren and great grandchildren brought him so much joy, he loved creating memories with them.

For those who knew Bob, he will be remembered for his love for his wife, Cindy, his love for his family and his love for the University of Michigan.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Beverly; his brother, Rick and his “Brother” Pancho.

Robert is survived by his wife of 52 years, Cindy Culp; son Eric (Kimberly) Culp; son Chad (Sara) Culp; daughter Melissa Reynolds; Grandchildren Austin, Charles, Garett, Christopher, Skylar, Alyssa; Great Grandchildren Greyson, Lydia, Bentley; and numerous nieces and nephews.
