Robert Walter Doral

Robert W. Doral, 75 of Richland, MI passed away on Saturday, January 8, 2022.

Bob grew up in Rochester, MI and served honorably in the U.S. Navy (Vietnam War veteran). He married his beloved sweetheart Brenda Buban on August 23, 1975 and built a beautiful life for his family working as an automotive engineer. Bob was an avid fisherman, handyman, and cat lover. You could typically find him working on his boat, prepping his ice fishing gear, bragging about his daughters and grandkids to anyone who would listen, making handcrafted moccasins, or maintaining the most gorgeous lawn in the neighborhood.

Bob is survived by his wife, Brenda, daughters and sons-in-law Dr. Karen & Brian Fayle, Katie & Rob Hubbard, brothers Rick (Denise), Bill, sister Patricia Dodson, and his four grandchildren, Colin, Shannon, Wesley, and Caroline. Bob was preceded in death by his father Walter and mother Frances Doral.

A memorial service to celebrate Bob's life will be held 11:00 a.m., Friday May 20, 2022 at the Galesburg Congregational United Church of Christ, 22 South Church Street, Galesburg. In lieu of flowers, please send a donation to the American Cancer Society, The Purple Rose Theatre, or the Cat Nap Lodge.
