Robert Lyle "Bob" Presley

Robert Lyle Presley, 63 of Augusta, Michigan died at home on Friday, December 22, 2023.

Bob was born May 20, 1960, in Battle Creek, Michigan, the son of Jimmie Roland and Barbara Ann (Payne) Presley. He grew up in the Gull Lake area and was a 1978 graduate of Gull Lake High School. He retired as a member of IBEW, the International Brotherhood of Electricians and had worked for Motor Shop Electric as a Master Electrician for many years.

Robert Lyle Presley married his high school sweetheart, Elizabeth Ann Koelsch on November 5, 1983 in Hickory Corners. Sadly, Bob was preceded in death by his wife, Betsy on August 4, 2016. Surviving are two sons, Robert “Rob” (Megan) Presley of Augusta, Jason (Holly) Presley of Colorado Springs, CO; two granddaughters, Evelyn Ann Presley, Claire Maureen Presley; five siblings, Ron (Kim) Presley of Battle Creek, Rick (Kelli) Presley of Lawton, Rod Presley of Kalamazoo, Sue (Bryan) Huggett of Plainwell; Ryan (Heidi) Presley of Delton; along with an aunt, cousins, nieces, nephews and their families. In addition to his wife, Bob was also preceded in death by his parents.

Bob enjoyed golfing and formerly played in leagues at Maple Hills and Bedford Valley Golf Courses. He was an avid sports fan.  

A service to celebrate Bob’s life will be held at The Dock At Bayview 12504 D Ave E Richland MI 49083, Saturday, January 13 from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m.
