Robert Lee "Bubba" Rodeheaver

Robert Lee Rodeheaver "Bubba", 39, of Kalamazoo, MI passed away at his home unexpectedly on Friday April 15, 2022.

Born on May 24, 1982 to his loving parents, David Trinkle & Lisa Rodeheaver, Robert immediately filled the lives of those around him with joy. Robert graduated Galesburg-Augusta High School in 2001.

During Robert's short life, he was a St. Jude's leukemia survivor and faced many medical challenges in the years that followed. Robert courageously fought every battle and never stopped smiling and laughing. Robert loved hunting, drag racing, and quality time with his family and friends.

Robert's mother, Lisa, served as his primary caregiver in the years leading up to his passing. They had a relationship that exuded love and adoration, and Lisa fondly referred to Robert as her "simple man."

Robert is survived by his mother, Lisa Rodeheaver; sister, Cassandra Lyerla (Rodeheaver); brother-in- law, Christopher Lyerla; grandmother, Judith Trinkle; cousin, Ashley Turner "Sissy"; his aunts, Kim Forster and Sarah Rodeheaver; and his uncles, Bill Rodeheaver, Scott Forster and Bob Thompson. Robert was preceded in death by his father, David Trinkle.

A Celebration of Life will be held 2:00 p.m., Saturday, June 4th at the Augusta V.F.W. Post #7956. Donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital where Robert was a lifelong patient.
