We are profoundly saddened to announce the untimely passing of Robert Scott, who was a cherished son, brother, father, uncle, nephew, cousin, and a dear friend to many.
Robert was a man of steadfast faith and chose to be baptized as a meaningful expression of his personal commitment to Jesus Christ.
Robert faced many challenges throughout his life, and because of his own struggles, he had a deep compassion for others experiencing similar hardships and often extended a helping hand in whatever ways he could.
Robert was born on May 3, 1985, in Battle Creek to Lisa Rogers Scott.
Robert is survived by his mother, Lisa Scott; his children, Juqaveon Oliver, Kaden Scott, and Nadia Scott; his siblings, Amanda Taylor and Dan Scott; his uncles, Steve Rogers and Gregory (Kathy) Rogers; a special nephew, Andrew Gibbs, and special niece, Khloe Gibbs; as well as his cousins, Jessica (Jason) Main, Rebecca Sult, Erin Rogers, and Dusty (Denise) Rogers, along with many other beloved family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother Hazel Rogers, Uncle Rodney Rogers and Aunts Melonie Rogers and Lori Rogers and a special brother‑in‑law Thomas Taylor.
Robert’s family is deeply grateful for the comforting words, prayers, visits, calls, and thoughtful gestures that have offered strength during this difficult time. Your kindness and support have been a source of comfort and are sincerely appreciated.
Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Robert's Life will be held a later date. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to his family.
