Roberta Alexander

summers and was active on the board. Ladies of the Lake, Gull Lake, Michigan was another group in which she held membership. She had been an active member of the Gull Lake Community Church and Yorkville Community Church. Hobbies were cooking and entertaining.

Roberta loved her family; she was preceded in death by her sister, Donna DeRyke, January 2009. She leaves nieces and nephews, Walter and Beth DeRyke, Alice and William Markle, Phyllis Ball, and Rev. John and Nancy Westra, also a step-daughter, Dr. Jane Alexander Robinson, step-grandchildren, David Robinson III, Dr. Amorie Robinson and Richard Robinson, first cousins, and a host of friends. Her friends were cherished. Roberta was generous, cherished and beautiful and will be missed by all who knew her.

She has been cremated and there will be a private burial in the Memorial Garden at GLACC. A memorial gathering was held on Sunday, September 14, 2021 at 4:00 p.m. at Yorkville Community Church . Those wishing to make a Memorial may be made to any of the following:
