We are sad to share that Roberta "Bert" Harvey passed away on February 25, 2023 at her home in Galesburg, Michigan after a lengthy illness. She was surrounded by the family that was her life.
Bert was born in Twinton, Tennessee on April 18, 1942. She married Bob Harvey on June 7, 1958 and together they raised four children, Randy (Lisa) Harvey, Roger (Judy) Harvey, Richard Harvey and Rhonda (David) Shirley. Her 8 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren were the joy of her life. Being "Mema" to them was her life's mission and the bond she forged with them will be forever unbroken.
There will be a visitation on Tuesday, February 28, 2023 at Farley Estes Dowdle Funeral Home & Cremation Care, Augusta Chapel from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. This will be a time for friends and extended family to share the many and varied stories that ultimately wove the life tapestry of the woman we all loved. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Centrica Care Navigators Hospice or St. Jude Children's Hospital.
