Rosemary Kittell

Rosemary Kittell, 65, of Battle Creek, Michigan died peacefully at Bronson Methodist Hospital on Thursday, September 19, 2024.

Rosemary was born April 13, 1959, in Lewistown, Pennsylvania to Basil S. and Ruth V. (Miller) Kittell. She moved with her family to Ohio for a brief period and then grew up in Battle Creek. 

Surviving are two daughters, Ada Kittell and Peggie Rench both of Battle Creek; three grandchildren, D’Neil Kittell, Brooks Gray and Simon Kittell; a great-grandson, Justin A. Warren; siblings, Bob (Zee) Miller of Florida, Sue (Palmer) Dyer, Basil Kittell of Detroit, Timothy Kittell of Florida, Joseph (Shirley) Kittell of Tennessee, and Jamie Kittell of Battle Creek. Rose was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Diane Miller, Melinda Karker, Tom Kittell, and Connie Kittell; and by a sister-in-law, Lisa Kittell. 

 Rose was a member of Battle Creek Baptist Temple. She enjoyed puzzle books and watching game shows. Rose loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchild. She will be remembered for her wonderful smile, her love of family and infectious giggle. 

Friends will be received 5:00-7:00 p.m. Thursday, September 26, 2024, at Farley Estes Dowdle Funeral Cremation Preneed Care. A service to celebrate Rose’s life will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 27, 2024, at the funeral home. The service will be livestreamed and may be viewed at: https://vimeo.com/event/4600082 .
