Rosemond Marie (Butler) "Rosie" Inman of Sherman Lake, Augusta, MI
                 Rosie, age 84, died Saturday morning, October 4, 2014 at the Laurels of Galesburg, MI following a two year illness. 
                 
                 Rosie, the daughter of John and Luella (Britton) Butler and the youngest of ten siblings, was born on April 2, 1930 in Three Rivers, MI; she was a 1948 graduate of Three Rivers High School and moved to the Augusta area after her marriage to Lyle.  She was employed at the Galesburg Locker with Lyle and her son, Chris in the meat packing business.  Rosie was a member of the Augusta Fellowship United Methodist Church; volunteered at McKay Library of Augusta and kept records for the Audubon Society.  She enjoyed painting, reading, snowmobiling and playing cards, especially Pitch and Euchre.  
                
                     Rosie was united in marriage to Lyle J. Inman on June 1, 1956 in Angola, IN and he sadly preceded her in death on April 13, 2005.  Surviving is her loving son, Christopher J. "Chris" (Penny) Inman of Augusta; her two precious granddaughters, Samantha N. and Nicole M. Inman, both of Augusta; two very special great grandchildren, Keira Evans and Aiden Ruddock; her sister, Hilda Jean Harmon of Three Rivers and many nieces and nephews.  Rosie was preceded in death by her parents; five sisters, Vivian Butler, Marion Corey, Loranne Jacobs, Frances Shutes and Kathryn Gasion and by three brothers, Thurlo, Carl and John Butler, Jr.
                
                     The Funeral Service to celebrate Rosie's life will be held on Thursday, October 9th at 10:30 a.m. in the Farley-Estes & Dowdle Funeral Home, Augusta Chapel, 307 N. Webster Street, with the Rev. Jennifer J. Wheeler, Pastor of the Augusta Fellowship United Methodist Church, officiating.  Interment will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery, Galesburg, MI.  Immediately following the Committal Service, family and friends are invited to continue Rosie's life celebration with a time of fellowship and a luncheon at the Church.  The Inman family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 8th at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.  Memorial contributions in Rosie's honor may be directed to the Kalamazoo Gospel Mission, 448 N.
