Roxanne Eileen (Schram) Walton
Roxanne E. Walton "Rocky" 53, of Battle Creek, MI, passed away on Saturday February 8, 2014 at 4:19 pm peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family after a long battle with cancer to be with her savior.
Born in San Jose, CA on May 7, 1960, to William A. and Truda May (Roberts) Schram. She moved to Battle Creek in 1966. She attended McKinley, W.K. and Battle Creek Central. She then began living life on her own, enjoying her adventures traveling with the carnival, always hanging out at the Rafters with good friends and sharing lots of laughs. Shortly after, she married her soul mate Robert Walton on October 16, 1983.
Rocky was passionate about her family, she was an awesome mom, she loved crafting with others, coaching, planting in her garden, girl scouts, and playing with her Facebook friends. She was a devoted wife and a dedicated mother and NO ONE could spoil her grandchildren more.
Rocky cherished her moments with all her loved ones; she was an amazing caregiver to her family and everyone she loved.
Roxanne will always live through her loving husband, Robert "Bob" Walton; Sons, Joshua (Tabitha) Byrd, Robert Walton II; daughters, Christina (Mikey) Marion, Amanda (Brent) Walton, and her Best friend Jaker Dog. Her mother Truda Smith; sister Kathy Schram and uncle Sam (Sharon) Roberts. Special Nieces: Katrina (Keith) Adams and Secret(Jason) Schram; Grandchildren, Mickey, Joshua, Jordan (Hailey), Leslie, Ceara, Asia, Michael, Jay-Byrd, and Ryan; Great- Granddaughter; Kyri Rose Byrd;
Great Nieces and Nephews, Brittanie, Brooklyn, Bethany, Brandon, Bryan Adams, and Alex Schram.
Reunited in heaven with her dad, Ray Smith, brothers, William "Andy" Schram and Douglas "Chris" Smith; maternal grandparents; Samuel (Truda) Roberts; aunt Julia Edsel, Margaret Johnson, Sherly Gramertz; uncle, Val Roberts and Hurshall Smith. "Until we meet again"
A funeral service will be held 3:00 pm, Monday, February 17, 2014 at Farley-Estes & Dowdle Funeral Home, 105 Capital Ave NE, The family will receive friends from 1:00 â 3:00 pm. Donations to the family are welcome and appreciated.
