Ruth Ann Lynd

Ruth Ann Lynd, age 72, of Battle Creek passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, December 16, 2020. She was born in Battle Creek on December 2, 1948, the daughter of Chester A. and Lucinda (Annis) Lynd.

Ruth is survived by her husband, Henry Mayo; her children, Joylene Waller and Christina Waller; her grandchildren, Andrew Waller, Johnna Waller, Samantha Easey, Benjamin Waller, and Jack Joiner; her great-granddaughter, Camira Reid; brothers & sisters, Judith Naegele, Janet Mudridge, Chester Lynd, John Lynd, Joe Lynd, Eva (Robert) Sweet; and several nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; two daughters, Kimberley Ann Waller and Angela Joiner; her grandson, Anthony R. Britton; three brothers, Raymond, Arthur & Lester Lynd; and her children's father, Clifford F. Waller.

Ruth was a member of the Saturday Night Mixed League at M-66 Bowl. She enjoyed bowling, crocheting, playing Bingo, gardening, and loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and her great-granddaughter.

The family will receive friends 1:00 to 2:00 p.m., Monday, December 21, 2020 at Farley Estes Dowdle Funeral Home, Battle Creek.
