Ruth Marie Ritter

Ruth Marie Ritter, age 63, of Springfield died unexpectedly on Tuesday morning, October 23, 2018. She was born in Sturgis, Michigan on December 23, 1954, the daughter of John H. and Sylvia M. (Blodgett) Ritter. In her early years, Ruth enjoyed making several types of arts & crafts, and going to the races.

Ruth is survived by her children, Donnie (Susan) Ritter of Battle Creek, Stephanie (Daniel) Everette of Springfield and Angela (Bill Rabideau) Ritter of Springfield; her grandchildren, Andrew Ritter, Shelby Garrett, Aubrey Ritter, Kasey Ritter, Nickolas Ross, and Karleigh Ritter; her great-grandchildren, Colten Garrett, Casen Garrett, Owen Ritter, and Aden Ritter; her sister, Lottie Reeves; and her brothers, John Ritter, Clyde Hicks and Cecil Ritter. She was sadly preceded in death by her granddaughter, Kelsey Ritter; her parents; and several brothers & sisters.

The family will receive friends 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Friday, October 26th at Farley Estes Dowdle Funeral Home & Cremation Care. In lieu of flowers, please consider making donations to the family.
