Sally Jo Lunt

Sally Jo Lunt, 82, of Battle Creek, died August 27, 2022 with her family by her side. Sally was born March 9, 1940 in Battle Creek to William and Geraldine (Bostock) Roderick. She graduated high school and worked as a cashier at local stores for many years.

Sally enjoyed bowling, playing pool and cards and dancing. She loved spending time with her family and cherished her dogs Moses and Max.

Sally is survived by her daughter, Kim (Ron) Presley; a brother, Donald (Helen) Roderick of Kentucky; a sister, Patricia Bivens of Kentucky; three grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren and three great great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, David Lunt and a son, Jeffrey Lunt.

Funeral services to celebrate Sally's life will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, September 2, 2022 at the Farley Estes Dowdle Funeral Home & Cremation Care. Following the service there will be a luncheon at the PNA Club. Memorial donations may be made to C.S. Mott Children's Hospital.
