Samantha Layne (McCleary) Moore, 29, of Battle Creek died Sunday, December 20, 2020, after a long battle with addiction.
She was born May 18, 1991 in Kalamazoo, Michigan the daughter of Christopher C. McCleary and Julianne K. Perry. Samantha worked in retail sales and especially liked cosmetics.
Samantha was married to Cory Moore. Surviving are her daughter, Maddilyn Joy Moore; two stepchildren; father, Christopher (Jennifer Brown) McCleary of Battle Creek; mother, Julianne (Matt) Preston; siblings, Jay Sparks, Mya Preston, Ashley (Brandon) McGovern, Zoey (Carter) Needham and several nieces, nephews, cousins and their families. She was preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents.
Samantha loved all her family and her daughter with all her heart.
