Sandra Kay Parker, age 71, of Battle Creek passed away peacefully on September 16, 2015 at home in the presence of her loving family. She was born in Battle Creek on July 19, 1944, the loving daughter of James M. and Velma L. (Willison) Lick, attended Wilson Elementary & Battle Creek Central High School, and lived in Battle Creek her entire life. Sandra worked as a bartender & cook at the Alamo, Bo's Bar, Barneys Bar and Ruggo's. She enjoyed playing cards and bingo with her friends and loved going to the casino with her children.
Sandra is survived by the father of her children, Robert L. Parker; a daughter, Connie L. Parker; two sons, Robert J. Parker, and Michael P. (Linda) Parker; her sisters, Mary A. Lick and Diane S. Ramon; her brother, Steven J. Lick; her grandchildren, Kenneth D. LeBeau, Brandis L. (LeBeau) Huffman, Claire S. LeBeau, Miranda D. Richardson, Alecia M. Richardson , Kaylee Parker, Christopher Wilson, Zack Parker, and Phillip D. Jones; 7 great grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews and friends who loved her dearly. Sandra also had a special bond with her great-nephew, Ruben J. Ramon. She was sadly preceded in death by her parents.
Graveside Services to celebrate Sandra's life will be held 1:00 p.m., Saturday, October 3, 2015 at Bedford Cemetery. Family and friends will continue the celebration of her life with a memorial dinner immediately following the graveside service at 11416 Stagecoach Dr., Dowling, MI 49050.
