Sang Kip

On Tuesday, October 20, 2020, (Monica) Sang Kip, 67, beloved mother, grandmother, and friend to many went to be with her Lord and Savior.

Sang passed away unexpectedly from a car accident this morning. Sang, daughter of Hluan Lian and Tial Hngel, was born on March 6, 1953 in Lumbang Village, Falam, Myanmar (Burma).

She is survived by her mother, Tial Hngel, three sisters, May Yu, Veronica Kim (Thang Kolh) and Lun Thang & Khua Thang, four children, Ngun Thang & Sui Zun Tial, Annie Thuanaung & Henry Thuanaung, Thawng Uk, and Za Uk & Cecilia San Yee, and seven grandchildren.

She was a woman of deep faith and enjoyed an extended church family. She was an active member of St. Joseph Church, of Battle Creek. She loved spending her time with family, gardening and hanging out with her grandchildren. She was on her way to work the day of the accident and was an employee of JBS of Plainwell.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 23, 2020 from 5 to 7 pm at Farley Estes & Dowdle. There will be another viewing on Saturday from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm at St. Joseph Church and service will start at 1:30 pm. Burial will be at Mount Olivet Cemetery in Battle Creek after the service at the church.
