Scott Jason Misner (Evans), age 39 passed away peacefully on February 25th, 2022 at home surrounded by his family. Scott was born on November 5th, 1982 in Mishawaka Indiana, son of Patricia Garcia-Misner and Leo Garcia. Scott has always been a brave courageous fighter, from the very beginning of his life; weighing in at only 2lbs 9 oz. to being a survivor of a Widow Maker Heart attack at the age of 37 in Nov 2019.
Scott graduated from Lakeview Alternative High School in 2001.
After High School, Scott passed the Alabama State Insurance Exam and was employed as an agency manager with Liberty National Life Insurance Co. During his tenure with Liberty, he was flown to Texas and recognized as one of the company's top performers. Scott also ran a U-Haul facility with his wife in Anniston Alabama. While employed with U-Haul he was instrumental in turning around a facility with a negative P&L to a successful and profitable multi-million-dollar operation.
Scott really enjoyed being outside and especially on a lake in his boat fishing (when it worked ha ha). Scott enjoyed Fireworks.... mainly the fire part. Scott was always fascinated with Fire, even at a very early age, by burning down the family kitchen table. While home in Michigan, Scott thoroughly enjoyed the "Recreation Stores" in Battle Creek and was a big fan of the new Michigan Laws. Scott also enjoyed Gold Mining; he even
bought a professional Gold Sluice Box. While not outdoors, Scott loved watching Michigan State Football and Basketball Games and talking long distance to his brother Chad during the MI State games. Scott even had a Michigan State Shed painted by his mother in his yard of his first home he purchased in 2019.
