Sergeo I. Brown

July 10, 1995 — July 2, 2022

Sergeo Ikeem Tramaine Brown, 26 of Battle Creek died unexpectedly on July 2, 2022

Sergeo was born July 10, 1995 in Chicago, Illinois. He came to Battle Creek at the age of seven where he attended Battle Creek Public Schools until 8th grade and then moved to Marshall where he was a 2014 graduate of Marshall High School. While in school Sergeo excelled in sports especially football and track, even earning a spot to compete in Hershey, PA in the youth Olympic National Track event.

Sergeo attended Crossroads Church & Ministries where he was an active member of the youth group participating in several mission trips and youth outreach. He loved to volunteer at the I've Got Your Backs Football Camp in the summers and other youth sporting events. Sergeo loved listening to music & playing video games, but most of all spending time with his family and friends, he had an irresistible smile that was known to light up the room. Sergeo's natural gift for math and love for sports made him the go-to resource for friends and family for any sports related stats and math homework.
After high school, Sergeo went on to attend Lansing Community College. He was formerly employed at M&M Equipment Auto Sales, Inc where he worked in advertising.

Surviving are his parents, Malika & Charles Brown of Battle Creek and Matthew and Jaime McAllister of Marshall; two brothers, Shamar Brown, Ezra McAllister; three sisters, Serenity Brown, Ella McAllister and Charlise Sandlin; a niece, Shamyiah Brown; maternal grandparents, Adrienne Moody and Timothy Brown; paternal grandparents, Shawn and Kathleen Loughrige and Consuelo McAllister; and aunts, Tiara, Desire, Iesha, Danielle (Seth), Marissa, Marissa (Tyler); his uncles, Mike, and Mark and all of the "S - Squad" and lots of cousins.
