Sharon Lorraine "Sherry" Dove

Sharon Lorraine "Sherry" (Adrian) Dove, 67, of Battle Creek died peacefully at Glenn Arbor Hospice Residence after a brief illness.

Sherry was born March 1, 1952 in St. Louis, Missouri the daughter of William and Lorraine (Matlock) Adrian. She grew up in St. Louis and Battle Creek. Sherry graduated from Battle Creek Lakeview High School and attended Kellogg Community College. Until her illness she had been employed for nine years at FireKeepers Casino Hotel Front Desk in Customer Service. Prior to that she worked in management at several automotive manufacturers, including Tokai Rika Mfg.

Sherry is survived by two sons, Matt (Christy) Riley and Brian Riley, both of Battle Creek; three grandsons, Carter, Connor and Mason Riley; a sister, Michelle Montoya; a brother, Dane (Cathy) Adrian; and her companion, Rick Hess. Sherry was preceded in death by her parents.

Sherry loved spending time with her family and her friends. She enjoyed playing billiards and was formerly involved in sky diving. She was always working hard, including managing multiple properties. Sherry will be remembered as a very active person, loving mother, devoted grandmother, and caring friend.

Friends will be received 1:00-3:00 pm & 5:00-7:00 pm Tuesday at Farley Estes Dowdle Funeral Home & Cremation Care. A service to celebrate Sherry's life will held 11:00 am Wednesday, September 18, 2019 at Floral Lawn Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions in memory of Sherry may be made to St. Joseph Elementary School for Tuition Assistance, 63 N. 23rd Street, Battle Creek, MI.
