Shirley T. DeHollander

Shirley T. DeHollander, age 81 of Martin, Michigan passed away peacefully on Tuesday evening, September 17, 2024 at Karis Dwelling in Kalamazoo. She was born in Sutton, England on July 21, 1943, the daughter of Adrian and Thelma (Kilpatrick) Edwards and graduated from Harper Creek High School in Battle Creek with the Class of 1960. Shirley worked at the Gun Lake Restaurant and several other area restaurants. She enjoyed crafting, going to casinos, and spending time with her family & friends. 

Shirley married Bernard A. DeHollander in Hastings, Michigan on July 10, 1996; he preceded her in death on April 15, 1999. She was also preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Richard Edwards. Shirley is survived by her sons, David Lee Greer of Portland, Tennessee and Charles Edward (Mickie) Greer of Delton; and three grandchildren, Jason Edwards Greer, Greg Wireman and David Wireman. 

A graveside service to celebrate Shirley’s life will be held 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 25, 2024 at the Prairieville Cemetery (near W. Pine Lake Rd. & S. Norris Rd.) in Delton (Prairieville Twp.) In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the American Heart Association.
