Staceshawn A. Alexander

Staceshawn A. Alexander, age 22, of Battle Creek went to be with her grandma on Tuesday, February 12, 2019. She was born in Battle Creek on February 12, 1997, the daughter of Priscilla Hicks and Stacy Alexander.

Staceshawn had a smile that would light up the room and was always the life of the party. She loved tigers (the animals) and truly enjoyed cookouts & cooking, and spending time with her family & friends, especially her niece and nephews.

Staceshawn is survived by her mother, Priscilla Hicks; her father, Stacy Alexander; her sisters, Vannesa Hicks and LaStacia Powe; her brother, Amarion White; and her niece & three nephews who meant the world to Staceshawn. She is also survived by her two precious dogs, Buddy & Fred; her aunts, Lucinda (Scott Smith) Hicks, Melinda (Frank) Knapp, Rita Alexander, and Joyce (Roy) Lephiew; her uncles, Mark (Jodee) Hicks and Jerry (Angela) Mcghan; and a host of cousins & many good friends. Staceshawn was preceded in death by her heart & soul, her grandma, Jackie Hicks and her grandpa Mark Hicks.

The family will receive friends 2:00 to 3:00 p.m., Saturday, February 16, 2019 at Farley Estes Dowdle Funeral Home & Cremation Care where a memorial service to celebrate her life will be held at 3:00 p.m., Saturday.
