Stella Goodacre

Stella Goodacre, age 91, of Battle Creek passed away Thursday morning, June 2, 2022. She was born in Battle Creek on November 30, 1931, the daughter of Eli and Sophia (Durockvich) Opich and graduated from Battle Creek Central High School. Stella served as a Teacher's Aide with Battle Creek Public Schools for many years and enjoyed puzzle books and shopping.

Stella is survived by her daughter, Chris Murdock of Battle Creek; granddaughter, Janine (Cat) Murdock of Hickory Corners; and a brother, Fred (Kay) Opich of Battle Creek. She was sadly preceded in death by her son, Mark Goodacre; grandson, Jason Andrew Murdock; her parents; and her brother and sisters, Joseph Opich, Mary Williamson, Sadie Hoag, and Annie Crane.

A memorial visitation will be held 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Saturday, June 11th at Farley Estes Dowdle Funeral Home & Cremation Care, Battle Creek.
