Steven Douglas Cica, Jr.

Steven met his wife, Jean A. (Hoage) Cica, while working together at Koyo. They were married on July 2, 2005. Surviving him are his children, Austin Cica, Garett Cica, Avery Cica, Cicillia “Cici” Cica, and Zayden Cica, his 4 grandchildren, and his wife of 18 years all of Battle Creek, Michigan. He is also survived by his mother Donna (Hardy) Cica of Battle Creek and father Steven Cica of Tennessee; sisters Shawna (Jeff) Jodlowsky and Kimberly “Kimmie” (Nate) Jones. He was preceded in death by 4 grandparents, an uncle, William “Bill” Hardy and two close cousins.

Steven enjoyed spending time with his family, playing video games, doing puzzles, grilling and watching TV. He was funny, blunt, and strong. Strong enough to bear every obstacle presented. Steven was honest, even when the truth was hard to bear. For many years, Steven was a stay at home father. He was working at Motus Integrated Technologies before he passed. Of all his achievements in life, Steven was most proud of all his children. Steven dedicated his life to providing for and protecting his family until the very end. He was unwavering in his love for them. Steven passed along with his daughter, Veronica J. Cica, who died on December 16, 2023. 

A memorial to celebrate Steven's life will be held Friday, December 29, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at Farley Estes Dowdle Funeral Home & Cremation Care. Family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Personal messages for Steven's family may be shared at www.farleyestesdowdle.com.
