Steven B. Dragoo

Steven "Dragon" Brian Dragoo, 59, passed away January 23, 2020 at his Battle Creek home after a long illness. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jenny A. (Williston) Dragoo; his father, Steven D. Dragoo; and his sister, Maiya Christensen (Tim). He is survived by his mother, Gayle L. Locke; sisters, Katrina Slager (James) and Ronda Amaya; and many devoted nieces and nephews.

Born in Kalamazoo, MI, Steve lived in Dorr and Johannesburg, Michigan before settling down to adult life in Battle Creek and Marshall, Michigan. He was a long-time employee of Post and was beloved by many for his kindness, generosity and sharp wit. He and his wife loved animals and fostered many Pugs.

He enjoyed hunting and fishing and loved to travel with his dad. He had a keen interest in science and outer space. He was also down to earth, interested in the people around him. He will be greatly missed.

Visitation will be Tuesday, January 28 at 10:30 a.m. at Farley Estes Dowdle Funeral Home & Cremation Care, 105 Capital Ave NE, Battle Creek, MI 49017, followed by an on-site funeral service at 11:30 a.m.

Steve's cremains will be laid to rest at 1:00 pm, Thursday, January 30, 2020, next to his beloved wife Jenny at Oakridge Cemetery,614 Homer Rd, Marshall MI 49068.
