Sue Ann Gooch

Sue Ann (Greiner) Gooch, age 88, of Battle Creek passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday evening, May 5, 2021. She was born in Connersville, Indiana on October 19, 1932, the daughter of Earl and Florence Greiner.

After graduation, Sue went to California with her BFF's Jo and Babe. She later moved to Battle Creek where she worked for Oliver Electrical, Security National Bank, and retired from the Post Employees Credit Union.

Sue was a member of M.A.D.D., St. Jerome Catholic Church; former secretary of the Post Hot Air Balloon Club, and a volunteer tour guide at the Kellogg Bird Sanctuary.

Sue is survived by her daughter, Cheré A. (Greiner) Mitchell of Battle Creek. She was preceded in death by her son, Stephen D. Greiner who was killed by a drunk driver in 1987.

Due to current government regulations, cremation has taken place and no services are being planned at this time. In lieu of flowers, memorials directed to the Kellogg Bird Sanctuary would be appreciated. Arrangements by Farley Estes Dowdle Funeral Home & Cremation Care, Battle Creek.
